For our thoughts, feelings or insights "sisterhood" post this month. I wanted to share a little bit of Sister Suzette A's Relief Society lesson (Foxglen Park ward). She spoke of Love and acts of loving kindness, using as her source materiel experiences from her own life and President Monson's conference talk from General Conference this April. Love- the Essence of the Gospel. It was a really beautiful lesson about showing love through our actions. She shared a story from her childhood of a young couple, new to her town who suddenly lost an infant. They were surrounded by love from the sisters in their area who leaving their own families made sure that the tiny grave was covered with flowers and beautiful music was performed at the service. It was a day of service for these women but has translated into a lifetime of memory for one little girl. Remember that we each have within ourselves the ":power to increase the sum total of (the) world's happiness. . . ".**
I have wept in the night
For the shortness of sight
That to somebody's need made me blind
But I never have yet
Felt a tinge of regret
For being a little too kind.*
