Cakes with no eggs

The recipe for this month (ha ha, I REALLY doubt it will be the only recipe shared but it's the one that will show up under the "sisterhood" tab).  This doesn't really have a story to go with it.  It's kind a of a generic food storage thing but here's my rationalization for the sisterhood tab.  It's SUGAR.  Sisters NEED sugar.

Off the shelf Cakes (NO NOT OFF THE GROCERY STORE SHELF)

Cake Mix / No Sugar Added Applesauce
1 box yellow cake mix
1 cup applesauce
1 cup water

Mix these  ingredients and bake according to pan size / temperature / time suggestions  on the cake mix box.

Cake Mix / Diet Soda or Regular Soda if you don't like the aftertaste of diet
1 box cake mix (use your imagination*)
1 12 oz can diet soda

Mix these  ingredients and bake according to pan size / temperature / time suggestions  on the cake mix box.

*imagination failing you?  Try these yellow cake mix, lemon - lime or cream soda,  lemon cake mix - lemon lime soda, devil's food cake mix and cherry cola

I tried this one today as cupcakes, I think I might have under-baked them.   I wasn't really impressed, they don't hold together and tasted kind of doughy (they did look done though).  I used Cherry 7-up and white cake mix, the taste was fine, just a hint of cherry.

Cake Mix / Pumpkin Puree
1 box carrot, spice or Devil's food cake mix
1 (15 oz) can Pumpkin Puree

Mix these  ingredients and bake according to pan size / temperature / time suggestions  on the cake mix box.
Moist, spongy chocolate cake - YUM!

Cake Mix / Fat Free Plain Greek Yogurt
1 box Devil's Food Cake Mix
1 cup Fat Free Plain Greek Yogurt
1 cup water

Mix these  ingredients and bake according to pan size / temperature / time suggestions  on the cake mix box.

I made this one, the kids loved it.  The texture reminded me of Hostess cupcakes.
