Mandarine Sauce, Pear Sauce, Wonderful Salsa |
makes a quick and easy meal
(makes 13 pints)
8 cups tomatoes peeled and chopped and blended
4 cups of onions diced
4 cups of green peppers chopped
2 cans 20 ounce tidbit pineapple (drain the juice and save it)
5 cups of sugar
8 tablespoons soy sauce
3 cups cider vinegar
bring all to a boil in stock pan
separately mix
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 cup corn starch
1 cup water
pineapple juice
(mix all together boil 10 minutes
Process in water bath for 35 minutes in pint jars
(I always process mine an extra 5-10 minutes to be on the safe side with any tomato based food)
